If your mounting to wall you'll have no issues. I was mounting to telescopic poles so I had to rig a mounting bracket to slide over the top 1 -1/4" pipe. Hardware that is included is for 2" pipe.Installing it was a little difficult and the remote does not work from very far away. It does put out a good amount of light when fully charged from dusk to dawn setting. I would buy it again.The light was shipped with the wrong hardware for installation. The screw for attaching the solar panel to the bracket were too long. There were no lag screws for attaching the arm to a wooden wall. The upright mounting bracket is so short that the solar panel hits the fixing arm pole preventing the angle from being adjusted much past horizontal. The screws that apparently should be used to keep the light from rotating on the arm are too short and don't contact the arm. The instructions for installation are pretty much worthless and the video on installation that is suggested doesn't seem to exist. After purchasing new mounting screws I got the light installed and works well. It is fairly bright and stays on for at least 12 hours. I would have given it 4 or 5 stars if it had been shipped with proper hardware and a decent owners manual,We needed more for our property. We wanted to see if we liked it first. But let me tell you...it lights up neighbors too lol. Exactly what we needed and adding to all the other reviews...very happy!this 500 watt Solar street light for the outdoors is great. I was surprised that how bright the LED lights are lights up my whole front yard, almost. Best part is completely solar no need for outlet to plug in. that way I put it at the front of my driveway, it was great location for security light. I would have needed a long extension cord, if it wasn't completely solar recharged. Thinking about getting another one for my backyard to scare off the coons.This light is as bright as advertised. It is big, so be sure to review the size dimensions when you order. The remote switching is a great plus not found on other motion activated solar lights.
